The students were so happy when it was finally time to celebrate one hundred days of school. Since the beginning of the school year we would add connecting blocks together in sets of ten and we would add them to our 100 Jar. After each set of ten we would practice counting by tens up to 100. The children collected 100 small items to bring to our 100 day celebration to practice our counting skills. Some of the students’ collections included paper clips, stickers, popcorn kernels and markers. We read 100 day stories and we jumped in sets of ten to 100...all in all it was awesome.
